We just released a cool feature letting you find filler items in more than 40 online stores.
A filler is an item used to fill in the price gap in order to qualify special offers. For example, amazon.com offers free shipping on order $25 and over. When you want to buy an item around $20, you might want to find another item worth $5 to waive the shipping fee. Another example is that you may want to qualify special off for $10 off $50 in overstock.com. It comes handy to pick up a filler item to make your shopping cart eligible for the discount.
In our newly released Fillers tab, you just need to click the store name and then start searching for filler items in the store. You may specify the minimum and maximum price. You may even drill down by categories (only available for amazon.com).
We also introduced this feature on our PriceTrace toolbar. The “Find fillers in this store” button will be enabled on the toolbar when you are visiting a supported store. Clicking that button will bring you to the Fillers tab for that store.
